Aurora is a kind, playful, shy, gentle girl, who loves animals and is a hopeless romantic. Thanks to the good fairies of the kingdom, she has also been blessed her with beauty and the gift of song, which is how she meets Prince Phillip, her Prince Charming, in the Disney animated classic Sleeping Beauty. In this painting by the father and son team Peter Ellenshaw and Harrison Ellenshaw they capture Prince Phillip and Aurora as they instantly fall in love in the forest as Aurora's animal friends look on, not far from the cottage that Aurora stays at, while the blue castle can be seen in the distance.
